Prudential: ‘State of the nation’ WebEx event – register now
Prudential are running a ‘State of the nation’ WebEx day on 27 October 2016, to help you identify new financial opportunities with your clients. There have four different sessions running on the day.
9am – State of the (planning) Nation
Les Cameron, Prudential’s Head of Technical will be taking a look at some of the key issues vexing financial planners so far this year. He will also look ahead to what’s in store from the legislative runway.
11am –Times, they are a changing
Kirsty Anderson, a Business Development Manager at Prudential, will look at how the shape of retirement is changing, but more importantly, how the behaviours of those approaching (and wishing to enjoy) retirement have also changed. What choices have your clients made in the last twelve months and what has their outcome been? Kirsty will consider alternative retirement journeys a client could take and, with the added capability of technology, the options that are available to them.
1pm – Bond taxation – inside and out Masterclass
Helen O’Hagan, a Technical Manager at Prudential will take you through the complexities of bond taxation in the hands of individuals, trustees and companies.
3pm – Policy and political update
Tim Fassam, Head of Public Affairs at Prudential, will talk through what 'Brexit means Brexit' actually means and other developments in the policy and political world.
